ABOUT Sarah Jo

Sarah Jo Monaghan, (formerly Sarah Monaghan Fulford) was raised by hippies in the rain soaked forests of the Pacific Northwest. Sarah is a Costume Designer, Cutter/Draper and Educator. 

 

She holds an MFA in Costume Design from the University of California, Irvine, a Post Graduate Certification in Creative Pattern Cutting from the University of the Arts, London College of Fashion and a Bachelors Degree in Costume Design & Garment Technology from Western Washington University, Fairhaven Interdisciplinary College.

Sarah’s experience includes a variety of disciplines from Fashion, Repertory Theatre and Opera to Circus and Burlesque.

She is a devoted cat mom, enthusiastic baker of pies and notorious for leaving a trail of pins in her wake.
